July 11, 2006 - Full Day OMG SysML Tutorial given at the INCOSE International Symposium. The Tutorial can be downloaded from this site along with additional information about SysML under OMG SysML.  The new OMG SysML Discussion Group is also now available.

July 6, 2006 - The Object Management Group™ (OMG™) announced the adoption of the OMG Systems Modeling Language (OMG SysML™). Read the full announcement regarding the adoption and get quotes from supporting vendors and end users.

April 3, 2006 - The SysML Team submitted the SysML Specification v 1.0 to the OMG™ on April 3, 2006. The initial vote to begin the adoption process was passed unanimously at the OMG Technical meeting in St Louis on April 26, 2006. This represents a critical milestone towards implementation and use of the standard by tool vendors and users respectively. The OMG SysML™ Specification will now enter the OMG finalization process that will lead to a formally available specification.
